Showcasing Art by Read

My name is Sharron Read (Lancaster). I make paintings with a lot of texture. The sculptural nature of the textured paint allows me to form shapes and shadows that display beautifully, especially under overhead lighting. My art style was inspired by artist Justin Gaffrey.

My medium is a very textured acrylic paint usually applied on a wooden panel.

My inspiration comes from watching and learning from other wonderful artists. 

I also love to travel and am inspired by beautiful old buildings and lush landscapes.
